Each racial group has its own distinctive religion and there are colorful festivals of special significance all year round. Although the festivals are special to certain races, it is nonetheless enjoyed by all.

In Singapore, four official languages are Mandarin, Malay, Tamil and English. However, English is the most commonly used language. Many Singaporeans also use Singlish to communicate, which is a mix of English with other languages mixed into the English.

Cost of living is cheap in Singapore. Salaries are competitive followed by numerous benefits such as recreation facilities and bonuses etc making work experience a rewarding one. Food is also relatively cheap in Singapore.
